Say hello to Tinkerbell, the gorgeous British Bulldog. I had the pleasure of her company at Sirius Grooming for a few hours this week and treated her to a good scrub up and brush down. She loved every minute!
She’s only 10 months old and Bulldogs of this age can be quite feisty and boisterous. Not little Tinkerbell. This was her first time in a salon and she took to it like a duck to water. She was as good as gold and sat perfectly still for her bath, dry and groom – a real credit to her owners. Other than that, she just needed a good nail trim and a thorough coat furminate.

They’re a fairly hardy short-haired breed and don’t require the level of ongoing maintenance that something like a Cocker Spaniel might need.
That said, regular health checks and daily brushing from the shoulder area back toward the tail are highly recommended if you want your Bulldog to have a healthy life and a shiny coat. A bulldog’s trademark facial wrinkles also require regular cleaning with a mild soap and water solution.
